Hannah Lee Miller

Here we have a comic based on Hannah Lee Miller’s experiances at the fun fair. I really like the simple palette and characters used here. Can see why you don’t like fairgrounds!

This is a great submission from Pam Wye. Really love the story and illustration here. The map of donations was a great touch! Look forward to seeing more, thanks for the submission.

I am an artist and writer. I’m currently working on a number of children’s book proposals. I teach Art at an all-boy’s inner city high school. I have a one-page comic in DUMP 3 illustrating a story by David Robertson.

Nothing beats a good old hero origin story and here we have Liam Magill’s submission for Adventures in Comcics 2015. Unfortunately I’m not sure that these two are really up for the job! Great work Liam, keep them coming.

Guildford College is the home of a wide range of visual and creative arts (as well as everything from construction to hairdressing. Our students are an eclectic bunch).

We are, possibly, best known for sculpture, with both Henry Moore and Dame Elizabeth Frinke walking through our beautiful School of Art doorway but nowadays we do a fine job of teaching visual arts on both desktop computer and touch screen. You may have seen us at MCM, LSCC, BETT, the Gadget Show Live, Eurogamer Expo and many more fine places in which case, hi, nice to see you again.

The students, every year, are given the Adventures in Comics brief, which is basically “two pages, that’s the title.” It’s fun and lovely and every year I love what they do. I hope you like it too.

This is the second submission from Laura Hanna Stevens. I was very intrigued by the style of illustration used here and maybe I have been playing too much Fallout: New Vegas but I would swear that is Mr House with Micky!

This is the first of two submissions from Laura Hanna Stevens, both very different takes on ‘The Waltze’ with two very different styles of illustration. Thanks for the submission, keep them coming.

Another awesome take on ‘the waltzer’ thanks Grace. And people in the studio wonder why I don’t drink tea! Keep up the great work.

This fantastic comic comes from Dorothy at the Guildford College. Makes you think twice about going on the waltzers!
