    I guess it’s down to your own interpretation, but I consider a comic to be a visual narrative communicated through the readers involvement with (and between) panels. I think the word narrative is important and often missed when people describe comic, it’s what stops them being just a collection of pictures. I personally can’t see a story here so for me it’s not, but comics are a personal experience, so it would be easy for others to disagree.

  • I agree that a story/narrative idea needs to be present within a comic, so if I look at the image above and deduce a ‘story’ from it, does it then become a comic?
